The Mathews County Woman’s Club Fall Raffle Basket was recently presented to the winner, Mary Warren of Bohannon, at left, by Martha Frame. All proceeds from the sale of tickets are used to fund the club’s Mathews High School scholarship. An annual $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an MHS graduate each year. Current MHS seniors may apply in the spring by contacting the school guidance counselor.
