Music by Gary Painter, left, and Friends Michael Gregg and Carl Roane filled the air on Saturday during the all-outdoors annual Fall Festival sponsored by the West Mathews Community League. Sale booths, food and plants were offered in the league’s festival, which the league holds at its headquarters, the former Peninsula School on East River Road in Bohannon. The school was constructed in 1913 and remained in operation until the late 1940s.
