Fairfield to hold House Party, candlelight tours of Rosewell

The Fairfield Foundation has a pair of upcoming events, starting with Saturday’s annual Historic House Party fundraiser at “Exchange,” 8711 Exchange Lane, Gloucester.
From 5-7 p.m., Fairfield staff and the community will enjoy an evening of smooth jazz saxophone, exceptional eats, libations and homemade desserts under the tent overlooking the North River at the restored riverside home, built in 1720.

Later in the month, when nights grow longer and everyone’s thoughts turn to ghosts and goblins, the Fairfield Foundation invites the public to the Rosewell Ruins, 5113 Old Rosewell Plantation Road, for a venture into the supernatural.
