UTILITIES: The Gloucester Utilities Advisory Committee will meet at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Nov. 14, in the press room of County Office Building One, 6467 Main Street, Gloucester.
LIGHT KEEPERS: Historian Benjamin H. Trask will give a lecture titled “Lighthouse Keepers of Mathews County” at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Nov. 14, at Mathews Memorial Library, 251 Main Street. Sponsored by the Mathews County Historical Society in partnership with the library, the lecture is free and open to the public.
FRIDAY
DAR: The Cricket Hill chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 2 p.m. Friday at Kingston Parish, Mathews. Tom Karow will present the program on “Lady Silversmithing.” If interested, contact Lynda Loyd-Lancaster at lancasterl@aol.com or 304-676-3979.
