SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester Social Services board will meet at 7:30 this morning, Thursday, March 20, at 6641 Short Lane, Gloucester.
SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, March 20, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.
FRIDAY
CLEAN COMMUNITY DAY: Spring Clean Gloucester Day, part of the Great American Cleanup, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday along roadsides and waterways, on beaches, and in neighborhoods and parks throughout Gloucester County. Individuals, school groups, civic organizations, small businesses, and others are encouraged to participate. The cleanup will continue on Saturday. WORK SESSION: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors and Mathews County School Board will hold a joint work session from 9 a.m. to noon Friday in the historic courthouse. The meeting will include a discussion of the FY 2026 budget.
