KING’S DAUGHTERS AND SONS: The Chesapeake Bay Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons will meet at noon today in the fellowship hall of New Point Friends Church. Nelda Gibbs will be the speaker.
FRIDAY
SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will have a special meeting to hold a closed session at 10 a.m. Friday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.
SATURDAY
HAMFEST: The Middle Peninsula Amateur Radio Club will hold the Middle Peninsula Hamfest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Gloucester Moose Lodge, 6565 Moose Drive, Gloucester. The event will include vendors, exhibitions, demonstrations and a food truck. Admission is $10 per adult; children under 12 are admitted free of charge. BREAKFAST: American Legion Post 83 will hold its World Famous Breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Sunday at the post home, 73 Hookemfair Road, Hudgins. The cost is $12.
