DAFFODIL CLUB: The Gloucester Daffodil Club meets at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 13, at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, Gloucester.
BREAD AND BEER: A Bread for Life fundraiser, “Bread, Beers & Vinyl,” will be held from 4-10 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Gloucester Brewing Company, 6778 Main Street, Gloucester. Each donor will receive a special thank-you gift for Valentine’s Day.
VIMS LECTURE: Dr. Jeff Shields will speak on the topic “Romance Beneath the Waves” at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Feb. 13, in Watermen’s Hall at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, 1375 Greate Road, Gloucester Point. The lecture is free and designed for the adult public.
