PLANNERS: The Gloucester County Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 tonight, Thursday, Dec. 5, in the colonial courthouse, 6504 Main Street, Gloucester.
FRIDAY
FESTIVAL OF TREES: The Gloucester Resource Council will have a Festival of Trees from 5-8 p.m. Friday in the court circle on Main Street, Gloucester. Nonprofits and service organizations will decorate trees and wreaths based on their missions.
ROCKFISH TOURNAMENT: Captain’s registration for the annual Rockfish Tournament sponsored by the Rotary Club of Mathews will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Morningstar Marinas, 249 Mill Point Road, Hudgins. Entry fee per boat is $200 with unlimited anglers. The tournament will be held all day Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, with a first prize of $2,000.
