HOLIDAY NIGHT MARKET & TREE LIGHTING: Mathews Main Street businesses will be open until 7 p.m. Friday for the Main Street Holiday Night Market, held at various locations. Shops will have refreshments, carolers will sing along the streets, Santa Claus will be out and about, and there will be a drawing for a family prize basket. The tree lighting will be held at 7 p.m. at Westville Christian Church.

CHRISTMAS FARMERS’ MARKET: A special Christmas Holiday Farmers’ Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the Court Green on Court Street in Mathews.
