SUPERVISORS: The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a joint meeting with the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, April 10, in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester.
SATURDAY
CLEANUP: The Spring Community Litter Cleanup will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at sites around Mathews County. Supplies may be picked up at the Mathews County Visitor and Information Center on Main Street.
RAKU FIRING: The Bay School’s Raku Firing and Pottery Throwdown will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 279 Main Street, Mathews. Tickets are $30 for glazing and firing a pot provided by the Bay School, $15 for firing and glazing a pot provided by the customer, or $10 for painting a pot with no firing. It’s also $10 to compete in the pottery throwdown.
