A funeral for Ernest T. Jr. "Ernie," Kinsey, 75, of Richmond, was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, Richmond. He died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Ernest Kinsey Sr., and sister, June Perks.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Linda Kinsey; three sons; a brother, and five grandchildren.

He had performed country music at Donk’s Theater in Mathews for 20 plus years.
