Ernest Lee Nicholas, age 80, of Hudgins, Va., passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014.

He was predeceased by a brother and a sister. He is survived by a “special companion,” Barbara Buchanan, who enjoyed life together, always there for each other for good and bad to the very end.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. in H.C. Smither Cemetery, Hudgins.

 Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va., was in charge of the arrangements.
