Environmentalist to speak on climate change to Friends of Dragon Run

William A. “Skip” Stiles Jr., executive director of Wetlands Watch, will speak next week at the next meeting of the Friends of the Dragon Run. Wetlands Watch is a statewide nonprofit environmental group based in Norfolk.
Stiles will discuss climate change in Virginia and responses to the impact at the meeting, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. His presentation will be on Zoom. Go to DragonRun.org for the Zoom meeting information.
Stiles has been with Wetlands Watch for a dozen years and involved in sea level rise adaptation at the community level. Prior to his current position, starting in 1998, he was an independent consultant, providing editorial and public policy services to clients on issues related to science, the environment, and public policy.
