The Phoenix Art Group is gearing up for the annual Gloucester County Art Student Show, which will take place from March 1-14 at the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center.
Art students in Gloucester’s public, private, and home-schooled systems are all welcome to enter. Forms have been distributed to all elementary and middle school art teachers, said a press release, and must be properly filled out by the parents/guardians of the art students submitting their work.
There will be a People’s Choice Award for the art/craft receiving the most votes from the visiting public. The winner will receive $25 plus a certificate and ribbon.
Artist Renate Bumgarner will also give an award for the Most Promising Young Artist.
All artwork must be ready for pickup by the Phoenix Art Group by Feb. 22, along with the completed entry form and copyright authorization.
