Residents may observe an increased presence of emergency personnel and vehicles Monday in the vicinities of Route 17 and T.C. Walker Road in the White Marsh area as first responders will be conducting an emergency training exercise. The event is expected to run from 7 a.m. until noon, according to Gloucester County spokesperson Christi Lewis.
She said the exercise is to test and drill a coordinated response to a major emergency incident in Gloucester. Due to the interactive nature and sensitivity of the exercise, access by the public will be restricted in and around the targeted areas. However, traffic will not be impeded or redirected within the impacted areas.
