A funeral for Elizabeth Jeanette Scott Sparks of Gloucester, was held Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 in the First United Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013.

 

She was born May 17, 1940 in Gloucester, and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Wilson Scott and Margaret Scott Thornton.

 

Survivors include her husband, Clifton Lee Sparks Jr.; six children, Clifton Lee Sparks III, Pamela Louise Prentiss, Shelia Marie Sparks, Sharon Elizabeth Carraux, Keith Marcel Sparks, Arlene Sparks; a stepson, Jarrod Combs; a sister, Doris Muhammad; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

 

Burial was in the church cemetery.
