Elizabeth Haynes Davis Pierson, 97, of Mathews, died Sunday, May 28, 2023.

She was a member of Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson and Corrie Buchanan Davis; her husband, William Kenneth Pierson, and her brother, Leon Davis.

Survivors include three nieces, Betty D. Chester, Barbara D. Duke and Vickie P. Smith.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Gwynn’s Island Cemetery, Gwynn. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family.
