Elizabeth Dunnigan Hogge, age 83, of Hayes, daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Lollis, died at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was a member of Providence Baptist Church and retired from Busch Gardens as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Robert Dunnigan and Raymond Delbert Hogge; siblings, Gaynell Thornton, James Thomas Lollis, Raymond Thaddaeus Lollis, and Clyde Wilburn Lollis. Survived by sons, Brian Dunnigan and wife Valerie, Ed Dunnigan, Robert Dunnigan and wife Kim and their children Misty Harris and Michael Dunnigan; sister, Sue Phillips and husband Stan; extended family, Bonnie Lewis, Delores Goode and husband Freddie, Terri Bagby and husband Ray; lifelong friend, Bettye Johnson; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family received friends Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, from 3-4:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home. A funeral service, conducted by the Reverends Tom Gaskins and Tom Cohick, was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, in Providence Baptist Church, 3501 Providence Road, Hayes, Va. 23072, followed by interment in the church cemetery. In memory of our mother, contributions may be made to Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 9, Bena, Va. 23018.
