Elder Sharon K. Smith, age 60, of Hayes, entered eternal rest on Aug. 14, 2021. She is survived by three children, Leslie Smith, Kelly Pettus, Corey Smith; two grandchildren, Isaiah Wynne, Ethan Pettus; father, Melvin Saunders Hodges, and sister, Toni Steward. On Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, the family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service, which Apostle Medina M. Marble will conduct, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, in Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester. Interment will follow in Antioch House of Hope Worship Center Cemetery, 4604 Cedar Bush Road, Hayes, Va. 23072.
