On Monday, November 13, 2023, Edwin Gerard Spriggs, aka “Edo” or “VilleBerg” of Cardinal, Virginia, and Abbeville, Louisiana, took his final rest surrounded by family and friends. He was a beloved father to Major and Nyasia Spriggs, and husband to Candace Jarvis of 30+ years. He was the son of Judy Wiltz of Abbeville, Louisiana, and Edwin C. Spriggs of Lancaster, Va. He was known for his passion and drive for his music. He will be missed by all.

A wake was held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home in Shacklefords, Va. Funeral service was held at Zion Baptist Church in Cardinal, on November 21, 2023.
