Edna Lorraine Morgan, 94, of Mathews, Va., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014. She was born on Jan. 29, 1920.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood W. Morgan, and her son, Gerald W. Morgan.

She was a faithful member of Peniel Friends Church. She loved working in her garden and flowers. Lorraine had been a resident of the Riverside-Mathews Convalescent Center for several years and was well loved by the staff and other residents.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2 o’clock in the funeral home chapel.
