Disappointment abounded on Friday when Gloucester’s Daffodil Festival scrubbed its Saturday plans due to an unfavorable forecast.
Saturday proved itself to be stormy, windy, rainy, and a mess.
The festival crammed most of itself into a full day on Sunday, and hordes of visitors came out. It was a good call, and fortunate that the hard work for this popular festival did not go to waste.
Next year … Let’s hope for a better outlook.
