Editorial: ConGradulations

This weekend will unleash several hundred newly-minted high school graduates from Gloucester and Mathews into their new worlds.
Following this signature milestone in their lives, some will continue their education; some will start jobs; some are going into the military; and some may settle down and start families—although in these days, a career usually goes along with that choice. The prospects are unlimited.
Whatever they do, wherever they go, we trust that they are prepared for the challenges of the 21st century, and that they will become valuable, contributing citizens of this state and country. The world lies open to them. We are confident in them, and we wish them well.
