The York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons recently held a raffle, with the grand prize an “Easter Dinner for Twelve.” The winner was Maggie O’Brien of Gloucester Point, who donated her prize to a local pastor who in turn gave it to two families. Proceeds from the raffle were divided equally among five different charities. Club member Louise Klebitz quilted a table runner and sewed 12 dinner napkins for the winner. The raffle raised $2,575, including some additional donations. Shown, from left, are circle members Margie Borden, Pam Anderson and Liz Hurst.
