An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park in Deltaville.
Activities surrounding the hunt will be held from 1-3 p.m. These include hay wagon rides, children’s games and crafts, hot dogs for purchase, and a photographer to take pictures of children and families with the Easter Bunny. The whole family is invited to attend.
The hunt will be divided into three age groups in three different spots, according to a press release. Children 3 and under will hunt in the Children’s Garden, ages 4-6 will be in the Tea House/Waterfront Park area, and ages 7-10 will be in the Trails. The cut-off age for egg-hunting is 10.Volunteers are still welcome and should arrive by noon and sign in at the front table, said the release. Student volunteers will be asked to include their school’s name and their grade.
