An eagle came to an osprey nest near the Timberneck Creek home of Larry and Meg Sherertz of Hayes on Thursday morning with his breakfast fish, soaking wet and looking none too happy about the rainy weather. Residents of Gloucester and Mathews counties were spared the brunt of Tropical Storm Debby as the storm took a westward path as it headed up the East Coast last week.
