Dutton couple’s dogs competing this week in nationals

Ben and Jane Norris of Dutton, are competing this week in the National Championships for The Upland Classic Series, a bird dog event being held in Mount Vernon, Mo.
Owners of Seminole Brittanys (Seminole-Brittanys.com), the Norrises own champion bird dogs and are active in upland bird hunting competitions.
Ben’s dog Snake Eyes, age 11, is a 10-time national champion and has earned the rank “Super Grand Champion” in the pointing division. The dog is a nominee to the National Upland Classic Series Hall of Fame.
Jane’s dog Rimrock Roy, age 7, has been named a national champion five times and has earned the title “Grand National Champion Pointing Dog.” Roy is Snake’s oldest pup, Ben Norris said. “Snake also has over 25 grown pups that are competing in the National Upland Classic Series competitions around the country, plus several in the Bird Dog Challenge and the United Field Trial Association.”
