The Gloucester High School varsity baseball team defeated Phoebus and Heritage high schools this past week.
Gloucester beat Phoebus, 12-2, last Thursday at home. Gloucester had seven hits and one error and Phoebus and three hits and two errors. Landon Morris had two hits for two at-bats and three runs.
The Dukes traveled to play Heritage Tuesday afternoon. Gloucester beat the Hurricanes, 23-2. Gloucester had 13 hits and zero errors and Heritage had six hits and six errors. Trevor Richardson had two hits and Tyler Boulay had two hits and five RBIs.
Gloucester’s season record is 14-2.
