Dukes improve to 5-0 in field hockey

Gloucester High’s field hockey team took wins this week over Grafton and Oakton to move to a 5-0 record.The team traveled to Grafton High School last Thursday to face the Clippers, coming out on top with a commanding 5-0 win.
The Dukes outshot the Clippers, 30-3, and earned 16 penalty corners to five for Grafton. The team spread the ball around quite a bit with precision.  
The Dukes were led with Reese Miller’s two goals and two assists. Charlotte Houtz pitched in a goal and added her team-leading ninth assist early. She has scored in each of the first four games. Mackenzi Reece also scored her fourth goal of the season and has scored in each game. Hannah Symonds scored in her third straight game to close out the scoring.
Houtz had an assist from Ady Jeffrey, Peyton Sutton and McKayla Clark each recording one each. Ellary Miller stepped in and added two assists.
