The Gloucester varsity football team suffered a tough loss Friday against Woodside, losing 28-0 at home. The Dukes were scheduled to travel to Heritage High School on Thursday, but that game is currently canceled with no make-up game scheduled.
The JV Dukes also faced off against Woodside, traveling to face the Wolverines on Monday. The JV Dukes were in a close game and saw the game-tying touchdown called back due to a penalty. Woodside then scored late in fourth quarter squashing any hopes of a Dukes comeback, winning 12-0.
