The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ volleyball team lost to the Kecoughtan Warriors in back-to-back games this past week, but defeated the Hampton Crabbers Tuesday evening.
The Dukes traveled to face Kecoughtan last Thursday, falling to the Warriors, 3-1 (25-9, loss; 25-19, loss; 25-17, win; 25-21, loss). For the Dukes, Jesse Manheim had seven digs; Tabb Hogge had 10 digs; Grayson Shield had two kills, seven assists and nine digs; Gavin Blanks had one ace, two kills, two solo blocks, one block assist, one assist and three digs; Hayden Simmons had three kills and two digs; Colter Callis had five kills, two block assists and seven digs; Ryan Williams had two kills and three digs; Bruce Miller had two kills, one block assist and one dig, and Ryan McCullough had four digs.
