Dukes dominate on the field

The Gloucester High School varsity baseball team picked up three wins this past week against Kecoughtan, Manor and Hampton high schools.
The Dukes beat Kecoughtan, 4-3, at home last Thursday afternoon. Gloucester had four hits and two errors, while the Warriors had four hits and three errors. Tyler Boulay had one hit and two RBIs.
Gloucester traveled to Manor Monday afternoon to defeat the Mustangs, 12-0. The Dukes had 10 hits and no errors, while Manor had three hits and four errors. Braydon Enoch and Carson Teagle had two RBIs each. Trevor Richardson pitched the whole game.
The Dukes hosted Hampton Tuesday afternoon, beating the Crabbers, 16-0. Gloucester had six hits and no errors, while Hampton had no hits and two errors. Dylan Deyoung scored three runs, Austin Shackelford had four RBIs and Boulay had three RBIs. Shackelford pitched a no-hitter for the five-inning game.
Gloucester holds a record of 4-0 for the season. The Dukes are set to travel to face Hampton again this afternoon...
