The Gloucester High School varsity baseball team defeated Heritage last Thursday at home, 17-0. Gloucester had 12 hits and one error, while Heritage had two hits and three errors.
Trevor Richardson pitched the game. Dylan Deyoung had two hits for three at-bats and Hayden Simmons, Braydon Enoch and Richardson all had two hits for two at-bats.
Gloucester’s current record is 15-2 and is scheduled to play Woodside on the road this afternoon. Tuesday’s previously scheduled home game against Woodside is planned for Monday.
