The Gloucester Dukes wrestling team took third place overall at regionals on Saturday. Nine wrestlers from Gloucester placed in the tournament and qualified for states this weekend in Virginia Beach.
Aiden Sheesley (106 lbs.) took down his competition to claim first place in his weight class. Rylan Altrath (113 lbs.) and J.R. Jones (heavyweight) both finished in second place. Ty Baker (126 lbs.) and Joey Foley (215 lbs.) both finished in third. Micah Bodiford (120 lbs.), Corey Skay (132 lbs.), Nick Guzzardo (157 lbs.) and Makai Scatliffe (190 lbs.) all finished in fourth place.
