The Cardinal neighborhood turned out in full force on Sunday to celebrate the 98th birthday of Maggie DeVita of Hicks Wharf Road. With social distancing concerns, the neighbors found a way to do it with a drive-by of vehicles. More than 20 vehicles took part, many with two or more family members inside. “We were careful to abide by social distancing, but it was really fun,” said neighbor Nanci Reaves. “We lined up on Heron Point Lane and then drove up Maggie’s circular driveway, honking and shouting greetings. She loved it.”
