Dorothy Edna Elston, age 78, of Gloucester, died on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at her home. Dorothy was born on February 25, 1945 in Warwick County, Va., now known as Newport News, Va., to the late Elijah Plessinger and Mary Plessinger. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband, Burwell Elston. She is survived by her sons, Elmer Elston (Lynn), Darrell Elston (Sherry), and Rodney Elston (Paula); daughter, Tina Steinhaus (Mark); 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Louise, Elizabeth, William, Nancy, Ronnie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
