A funeral service for Dorothy B. Griffin will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Zion Baptist Church, Ware Neck. She died Friday, March 21, 2014.

She was a native of Goochland and had lived in Gloucester for many years. She was a member of Union Zion Baptist Church, its Sunday School and Bible Study. She was the widow of Charles Griffin.

Survivors include a sister, Judy Lovings of Richmond, and a brother, Earl Binford of Goochland.

Mrs. Griffin will lie in state from noon until service time. Pastor Willie Dickerson will officiate with Rev. Betty J. Carter as eulogist.

Burial will be in the Fauquier Baptist Church cemetery, Goochland.
