Doris Coley Clements, 91, of Moon, Va., passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Doris loved and enjoyed many things during her life such as sewing, knitting, traveling and RV camping. She retired from nursing and traveled the country with her husband, Harry, in their RV for many years.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Norman Clements Jr., and her son, Harry “Norman” Clements III. She is survived by her daughter, LuAnne Clements Knuteson; her sons, Joseph Coley Clements and Thomas Kevin Clements; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 26, at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins, Va. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, at Newington Baptist Church Cemetery, Gloucester, Va. There will be a reception at Mathews Baptist Church’s fellowship hall following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, N.C. 27565.

Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family with arrangements.
