The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society recently announced plans for its “Attic Treasures and Great Garage Finds” virtual estate sale in March and is seeking donations of used or new household goods for the fundraiser.
The donated items will be sold through an online auction coordinated by Brad Smith of The Big Red Flea and Big Red Auctions in Irvington, with assistance from LVHS volunteers Rebecca George, Lex Forrester, Betty Pettyjohn, and other members of the auction committee.
All proceeds will benefit the historical society’s work to preserve, understand, and share local history and genealogy through its museum, library and educational programs.
All donations should be brought to the historical society at 8346 Mary Ball Road in Lancaster Court House on Wednesdays or Fridays only between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., now through March 10. For more information, email history@lancastervahistory.org or call the LVHS office at 804-462-7280 or Rebecca George at 804-761-3240.
