A number of Gloucester and Mathews businesses will collect food and treats for cats and dogs in the annual Dog Days of Summer promotion, which starts Monday and continues through Aug. 31.
Items for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society may be dropped at any of the following locations: The Closing Shop, CA&J Farm, Teagle Insurance Company, Village Dry Cleaners, Whitley’s Peanuts, The Silver Box, Gloucester Main Street Association office, Bay School Community Arts Center, and Brent and Becky’s Bulbs.
