Area businesses for the fifth year are putting on the Dog Days of Summer, offering incentives to customers and supporting the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
During August, participants will promote the #fivedollarfriday fundraiser for GMHS offered through the society’s Facebook page. Anyone that donates will be entered to win a prize package being offered weekly.
The following businesses are participating in this year’s Dog Days of Summer #fivedollarfriday promotion: The Inn at Warner Hall, Brent and Becky’s, Village Cleaners, Chesapeake Marine Training Institute, Jellystone Campground and CA&J Farm.
