Members of the Mathews Junior All-Star baseball team celebrate after defeating Middlesex, 20-11, on Monday night to claim the Little League District 15 championship. The team will now advance to the Virginia State Baseball Junior League Tournament, which will be held on July 6-10 at Big Stone Gap. A win there would propel the team into the Southeast Regionals with a bid to the Little League World Series on the line.
