The Mathews Little League Senior Softball team defeated Caroline County, 18-8, on Monday night to win the District 15 tournament, which was hosted by Lancaster Little League. The team will move on to the Virginia State Tournament to be played in Coeburn in Wise County, starting on July 6. In addition, Mathews LL will recognize the team this weekend during the District 15 Junior Baseball tournament hosted by Mathews Little League.
