Dian Sheppard Hicks of Bridgeport, Connecticut, formerly of Mathews, died on Friday, July 28, 2023.
She was a member of the East End Baptist Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie Hicks; children, Bernette Melendez of Chester, Pa., and Jonathan Hicks of Waterbury, Conn.; siblings, Eloise Jarvis of Mathews, Deloris Catlett of Newport News, Va., and Calvin Sheppard of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, in East End Baptist Tabernacle Church, 548 Central Avenue, Bridgeport. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport.
