Mathews County Administrator Mindy Conner issued a statement this week, saying that concerns raised by various residents during the board of supervisors meeting on Feb. 25 will be addressed in detail on the county’s website.
The specific issues to be addressed, she said, are the FEMA-funded Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Home Elevation projects, the Eubank property on Gwynn’s Island, the septic system at Hole in the Wall restaurant, and the Islander. A comprehensive timeline with detailed information and relevant documents will be posted regarding those matters, she said.
In addition, Conner said that the board of supervisors will include public comment at all budget work sessions. The next one is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
Going forward, the Mathews County website will be updated regularly with information from county staff and members of the board of supervisors, said Conner.
