Deltas win twice on road, draw with Heaters

The Deltaville Deltas prevailed in a pair of road games last week, defeating the Richmond Brewers, 10-6, and the Richmond Misfits, 10-0. Playing a third game in five days, they battled the defending league champions, Richmond El Heaters, to a complete game tie at home on Saturday night, with the final score of 6-6. The Deltas move their season record to 5-1-1 on the season, with a 4-1-1 mark in league play. They sit in third place in the Richmond NABA league standings.

This week, the Deltas travel back to Highland Springs for a Wednesday night road matchup against the Richmond Blues. On Saturday, the Deltas return home as they will look to avenge their only loss of the season. The Tappahannock Tides will be back in town, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
