Deltas edged by Tides, rip Heaters

The Deltaville Deltas were edged by the Tappahannock Tides by the score of 3-1 on Saturday night, and travelled to Richmond on Tuesday where they trounced the Richmond El Heaters, 16-3.
The Deltas move to an overall record of 6-2-1 on the season, and sit in third place in the National Adult Baseball Association Richmond league standings.
This weekend, the Richmond Brewers will come to Deltaville Ballpark for a Saturday night showdown, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30.

Pitchers Dawson Adams, Gabe Espiritu, and Chase Fisher combined to scatter just seven Tappahannock hits over nine innings, but the Deltas’ offense was held almost completely in check on Saturday night.
