The Deltaville Deltas went 1-1 in the opening weekend of the Southern Virginia Baseball League (SVBL) playoff tournament last weekend, defeating the #3 seed York Cannons 12-1 on Saturday night, and falling to the #4 seed Peninsula Cardinals 4-3 in Sunday’s semifinal.
With the results, the Deltas are among three teams to advance to this weekend’s final games.
