David Royal Johnson, age 89, of Virginia Beach and Gloucester, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 22, 2024. He was a patriot, proud Navy veteran, and successful business owner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Faye Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Lori Wolf (Chuck) and Karen Elizabeth Johnson, and two grandchildren, Hayley Elizabeth Moss and Cutler Wynn Moss. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454. The family will receive friends at his Gloucester home on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. Looking out for his fellow man and improving his community were important to Dave.
