David Keith McCreary, 70, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully at his home on Jan. 12, 2022. He was surrounded by his wife, Patricia, and his daughters, Michelle and Cindy, by his side. David was born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 18, 1951. He spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy, after retiring, he had many interesting jobs until he started his second career with Gloucester County water treatment plant, where he spent 20 years. He made many lifelong friends throughout his time here, even though it was to peopley towards the end! The biggest joy in David’s life was the love he had for his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 crazy wonderful years, Patricia; his children, Michelle Murphy, Shannon McCreary, Cindy (Ricky) Haynes, Anna (Shaun) Gregg, Pat-Rick Evans, Tina Evans and Joe Evans; grandchildren, Carissa (Nick), Ryan, Shannon Jr., Shane, Leilani, Kayden, Mason, Athena, and Jace. He has left us all with great memories and many laughs that will help us get through life without him. TTFN

A memorial service was held on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
